Do I need to purchase a specific app?
You don't need an app. You only need Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder and Photoshop (to convert it into .gif - not always necessary).
What if I don't have After Effects?
I know Adobe's programs are not cheap BUT, good news: there's a 7-days free trial! So you can download the program right before starting the 'Editing' unit, so you have enough time to practice.
Can I create cinemagraphs just with Photoshop?
In order to create cinemagraphs using all the techniques I'll teach you, you need After Effects. You can create basic cinemagraphs with Photoshop.
What format is the course delivered in?
The course is delivered in video lessons that you can watch on every device. You will also have access to many resources (PDF).
I'm not a professional, I'm starting now. Do you also teach photography theory?
No, this course isn't for you if you don't have a knowledge of photography (light, composition, technical stuff...).
Do I have a deadlines?
You are investing your time and money. You don't have deadlines, it is a completely self-paced online course, BUT the sooner you start, the better. This way, you can start practicing and engaging with other students (and me, so I can help!)

Can I find all this information FREE online?
Yes, you can find some basic information online, especially on Youtube. The videos I found in the past only taught me how to create cinemagraphs in Photoshop, not After Effects. It could take you MONTHS to learn how to create cinemagraphs and ALL the techniques.

I'm an Italian food photographer and cinemagraph artist with a huuuuge passion for homemade food (duh!)
I have a love for texture and attention to details, and want my images to always be mouth-watering and appetizing. My photos are studied to be as three-dimensional as possible.
